SXSW Keynote

Hey everyone just got back from the first big day at SXSW. I Sat in on a phenomenal presentation from the Keynote speaker, Maclom Gladwell. He is currently a senior staff writer for The New Yorker.

His whole presentation centered around the decisions we make in the blink of an eye and how they can influence your cognition. When you meet someone for the first time, or walk into a house you are thinking of buying, or read the first few sentences of a book, your mind takes about two seconds to jump to a series of conclusions. That is what his presentation was about and his book as well.

  1. You never have a second chance to make a good impression…or a bad one, they say. But I never realized how little time that takes.
