Scrappy Nonprofit Start-Up Takes on Big Medicare Bill :: PNNOnline ::
I like the sound of this. A nonprofit has started up to take on the politics of the Medicare drug benefit bill. Seems like good activism to have in the void of leadership and lack of ways for citizens to participate in health care change. Right now AARP is about the only force. This should be something to watch. Might also be instructive as a case study in advocacy.
Their mission statement is: CodeBlueNow! intends to change the health care system so it works for the American public.
