Addendum to previous post: activist software

I noticed that CodeBlueNow! says it’s powered by GetActive software. They evidently are a software company that specializes in software for social and political activity. Their positioning statement is:

Engaged, supportive members are the key to an organization’s success
Organizations thrive when members make a personal connection
They say they offer “solutions” for:

• Messaging
• Advocacy
• Fundraising
• Content Management”
• Membership Management

Hmm. Seems to me for the millions the ACS has spent of software and its Web site, we’ve never gotten very far in this space. Well, often we learn from others.
