I saw this article about a Samsung cell phone coming out that has a 1.5 gigabyte hard drive in it. They remark that this is way more than the normal 50 to 100 megabyte memories of ordinary phones.
I’m really dating myself but I had a flashback to the first IBM PC I bought circa 1981. The thing had a whopping 64,000 bytes of memory and one single-sided, single desity 5.25″ floppy drive.

Well crap. My Treo 600 only has a slot for SD cards to hold memory. I have a 256 MB card in there right now and that holds a lot of MP3’s. All legally bought from the itunes store of course 😉
