Check out the findings from a new study conducted by Six Apart and Gawker Media, "Blog Readers Young and Well Off: Study"…not to mention the little tiff between blog providers.
I was particularly interested in this finding — of the 400 biggest blogs, blogs focused on news and politics were most popular; followed by "hipster" and lifestyle blogs, tech blogs, and blogs authored by women.
It’s certainly interesting that a couple of years of blogging is now turning into a series of social studies. It seems that, for now anyway, is a community for the young and well-off. But a social organization such as the ACS needs to be building and developing relationships with the young. They’re the people who’ll be involved in causes for a long time.
