So I just finished up a great meeting about Distance Learning and Virtual Meetings here at the American Cancer Society. Lots of options and feedback but I want to hear from you.
How is your non-profit using Virtual Meetings? Second Life, Adobe Connect, LiveMeeting?
The first five commenters will win a prize from the FIspace prize closet.
Our staff all have Mac laptops and use iChat for our meetings. We’re looking at using Acrobat Connect for larger meetings and webinars. Everyone loves the video chat. Makes us feel like we’re together. I just have to remember to comb my hair…
WebEx
Netspoke Pro by Premiere Global – cheap and consistent that doesn’t require an additional application install for users (like the dreaded Webex Meeting Manager).
We all use live meeting at work. I haven’t been too impressed with it. It’s fairly slow, you have to install the program then install a plugin (I don’t understand the plugin), and managing active windows is sort of a pain. I don’t have experience with any other meeting apps, but I am familiar with well build and user friendly software, which LiveMeeting does fit into that category.
