On September 11, Russ Porfilio began an 80-day trek across country on his mountain bike. Why? To honor the memory of his mother who succumbed to pancreatic cancer this past July. He’s blogging about his trip (via his blog, Was It All A Dream) and fundraising on Team ACS.
He’ll be making his way through New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona and finally, Los Angeles.
As you can imagine the road can be lonely (let alone when you’re riding on a mountain bike). So send Russ a word of encouragement by posting a comment to his blog and/or making a donation to his effort through Team ACS.
