ACS Staff Blog About Quitting

I know it’s the day after the Great American Smokeout, but our efforts around this area really do have to continue each and every day.

Check out the American Cancer Society’s Eastern Division staff blogs (current ACS staff that used to smoke) as they blog about their experiences quitting.  Our staff know firsthand just how hard trying to quit can be. They also know, it can be done, especially if you set a day to quit and utilize key resources (like those offered by the American Cancer Society)!  Also blogging are volunteers and teenagers from the community.

By the way, America’s favorite sailor, Popeye won the vote for America’s Next Smokesperson with 41% of the votes (about 900 votes captured).  After 76 years of smoking, I think it’s time he quit!
