Like chips, the dollar's getting smaller

Frankly, an iron-clad grasp of money matters has not been my forte. I’ll probably live to regret it. But, here’s the first article I’ve seen that explains in a way I can understand how things like fluctuations of the value of the dollar and the federal budget deficit affect the economy macroscopically and, to a certain extent, microscopically. The article’s about technology growth, but to me the bottom line is this may not be a good year for a European vacation.
