Geez! No wonder Bill Gates is semi-retiring from Microsoft to manage his foundation. Now it turns out that Warren Buffett is turning over $30.71 billion (that’s right, billion!) to Big Bill to manage. This will make the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation the biggest philanthropy of all time. And with all that moola comes a lot of power. Absolutely anybody in charity or government is going to have to listen-up when Bill speaks.
Top priorities: 1-global health; 2-education. I put the emphasis on global because for these worldly guys, it’s a small planet and global conditions surpass national ones.
