Not only are the employees getting canned–no surprize–but the PeopleSoft programs will be fazed out forcing customers to switch to Oracle products or another provider. But what’s of interest to ACS is that the betting is that Siebel is next in the Oracle crosshairs. Oracle might get closer to monopoly status by snapping up Siebel and forcing its customers–ie, the ACS–to switch software. Oh well, the way things are going that might be a blessing.
