I’ve been getting involved with NetSquared, a project of San Francisco-based CompuMentor, making a big push to bring the benefits of new internet technologies to the nonprofit sector. Their efforts parallel what the Futuring and Innovation Center did with the National Voluntary Health Agencies Innovations meeting earlier this year. The parallel makes us natural collaborators. I was introduced to Billy Bicket and CompuMentor by Randy.
They’ve started "Net Tuesday," a monthly get-together of nonprofit people and representatives of some of the Bay Area’s most innovative internet companies. After last night’s meet I interviewed Marnie Webb (no, she didn’t make that up to fit her occupation) about NetSquared. The interview is about 10 minutes.

Be sure to check out the NetSquared Community Blog. There are some great ideas about nonprofits and the net in there.
I swear to God it’s my real last name.
Thanks for spreading the word, David. I really enjoyed getting the chance to talk with you.
