From our friends at Social Action:
I’m writing to let you know that the April 3rd deadline for entries in Social Actions’ Change the Web Challenge is fast approaching.
Already, there are 10 applications in the project gallery, all of which embed Social Actions on the websites and social networks that millions of people visit everyday, including Facebook, MySpace, and WordPress blogs. There are also iPhone apps and Firefox extensions in the works.
We are very impressed with the quality of the submissions so far, and encourage you to get involved in our Change the Web Challenge.
Here are three ways to get involved:
1. Add stars and comments to the entries that have already been submitted. The developers working on Social Actions-powered web applications and widgets are hungry for your feedback.

2. Tell your friends about the contest by posting a link to the Change the Web Challenge homepage on Twitter and Facebook as well as your own website or blog.

3. Build your own Social Actions-powered web application by April 3rd and win up to $5,000. It’s not too late to put together an web application or widget that helps people find and share opportunities to make a difference.
