Austin Social Media Club Changes

In 2009 Austin Social Media Club became one of the places to be in Austin, Texas, and we don’t intend to slow down at all 2010.

From amazing speakers to amazing parties, 2010 is looking to be quite the year. So what’s new?

We will also be choosing a new non profit to help in 2010 after our success with Mobile Loaves and Fishes in 2009. In case you missed it, we helped raise enough money in conjunction with Alan Graham and MLF to get Peggy into a new home. Social media is very effective for social good.

New Austin Social Media Club Team:

Cathy B. (@slavetofashion) is taking on the new role of Social Chair for ASMC.
Kathy M. (@katmandelstein) and Matt C. (@socialsmack) are taking on the roles of Speaker Programmers for ASMC.
Mike Chapman (@MikeChapman) and David J. Neff. (@daveiam) remain as the co-organizers/dinosaurs of ASMC.

Also, thank you for your patience on our defunct blog/website. When we originally set it up we did so through the umbrella SMC group it has caused a problem of late.Look for updates on Twitter at @smcaustin and through our Facebook Group.
