How much, to whom?

A WSJ aritcle about controversies about inheritance says half of all Americans say parents should strive to leave an inheritance to their children; 54% say say kids are entitled to some inheritance if the family has money; and 44% expect to leave something to charity (which tends to be about 10% of the estate).

They also say “researchers” expect between $41 trillion and $136 trillion to be transferred in the years ahead. That’s quite a spread.
