Yes this is coming faster than I ever thought. My fiance is even studying to become a Genetic Counselor once she recieves her PhD or PsyD. This is a whole need field where people are required to visit a Psyhcologist before gettig the results of their test..
Yes, I think routine genetic testing is not far off. Cancer patients will probably be in the forefront. Testing to differentiate drug prescribing or to monitor progress is beginning.
