The Camera phone may have yet another use as a bar code scanner. Their ability to see and read a bar code, search the internet for coupons, and then alert the buyer could change the way we make large purchases. Some people will not change their habits to save a few cents on a can of tuna fish, but when considering larger purchase items such as TVs, appliances and the like this could save consumers massive amounts of money.
