Yesterday I saw a report on local TV that the mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newsome, had recorded for his popular YouTube channel SfGovSanfrancisco chapters on the budget, health, and the environment — 7 hours worth!!
The guy has his eye on the governor’s seat and wants to be known for something besides this pro-gay-marriage position, but this is ridiculous.
While looking for this epic I came across a couple of YouTube features I didn’t know about. For one thing, they’re taking worldwide YouTube auditions for the YouTube Symphony Orchestra.
And they’ve got YouTube Live, their first event streamed live back in November. Gives you an idea where they’re going. And if YouTube goes there, so will everything else.
