Health = Wealth = FTW!

Microsoft Health Vault is offering the Health is Wealth Facebook contest online to raise awareness about health issues facing millions of people worldwide, specifically the causes associated with the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and Planned Parenthood.

To compete, people are asked to record a short video of themselves explaining why one of these three causes is important to them, what people can do to prevent the causes’ issues, and if his or her health records are online, and if not, if they see the value to having online health records.

The grand prize for this contest is $10,000 to the winning entry’s organization on behalf of the winner. The first runner-up’s organization gets $5,000, and the second runner-up’s organization gets $2,500. All entrants receive a HealthVault pedometer and long-sleeved T-shirt.

Submissions to the contest can be made until November 23, with winners to be announced on December 21. For more information on the contest, or to enter, visit http://apps.facebook.com/healthiswealth/home/HIW

The National Home Office will be promoting Health is Wealth via nationwide Twitter accounts and Facebook pages. Please feel free to let your personal Friends and Followers know about this contest too.
