Ok, now this is good marketing. Like thousands of others, I purchased a coffee beverage on my way to work this morning. When I got to work I noticed the specifics of the cuff encircling the cup. Brilliant.
Think about it. People are on their way to work, so they, consciously or subconsciously, are primed with thoughts of their career. Many are unhappy with their status and want to change their situation. Others are happy, but want to find an edge in order to advance their careers. So, with these thoughts lurking somewhere in their mind, what do they see? They see an advertisement for the University of Phoenix on the container of their stimulant of choice.
Not only is the UOP’s message hitting people when they are the most receptive, they are pairing their message with the nations number one feel good drug.
Again I say, brilliant!
