As you might have heard former Planet Cancer rockstar and friend of mine Courtney is launching a new volunteer movement here in Austin. I’ve already talked to her about Lights.Camera.Help. and as always she is eager to help. So take a second and check out the letter she sent me today and then go vote:
“As you may or may not know, I’ve been hard at work on a new project to launch a new volunteer movement of young professionals here in Austin, Texas. This is an innovative new program – giving people the opportunity to discover dozens of nonprofits who need their help and to give back in a way that’s impactful, accessible and affordable.
Austin Involved is launching in the next few weeks, and our organization is in the running for a $25,000 grant from Pepsi. If we receive enough votes to be in the top 10, we’ll win the money to start this amazing volunteer and philanthropic group.
