Nike drops Apple

Both Randal and I have posted on the coolness of the Nike+ system. The ability to track online through their system and widgets the number of miles you run/walk, along with calories burned would fit in perfectly with any number of non-profit walks/runs. However as far as I know no one has approached Nike about this. One of the reasons was that it required an expensive iPod to make that happen. No longer is that the case. Looks like Nike has developed their own product to replace the ipod in the equation. Go check it out here. The question is do you want to see your run or hear your run? Also wouldn’t it be fun to track all your runners on a big google map? Okay maybe a little scarier than fun for them ; -)
