Are you in Atlanta? Want to see what having cancer is really like?

Then you have to check out one of the people I respect the most in my circle of friends, Tom WIllner. He is performing his musical “Turning Thirty” this week in Atlanta, GA. Details below:

I’m thrilled to present the debut performance of my show about my battle with cancer, “Turning Thirty.” All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. If you see one Tom Willner show this year, SEE THIS ONE! There will be eight talented musicians and singers; it’s in a beautiful acoustic space; I’ll be playing a gorgeous grand piano; it’s a cheap night out; and finally it’s a story I’ve wanted to tell through music for years – all for a great cause. Come on out, and please bring your friends to help make this a huge success for the American Cancer Society!  We all know and love someone who has been affected by cancer – please share this email with them. Here are some quotes from fans of the show and music:

“The story makes me laugh and cry… a great helping hand to anyone who has a loved one dealing with cancer… authentic and inspiring… a great gift for people who have cancer in their life.”

“A realistic look at the rollercoaster of life that is cancer… a great way to deal with the battle.”
